Can Anyone Help With My Project About Past And Present Hair?

My senior project is on the changes of hair throughout the years. I pretty much have the past hair covered. Now I'm having a tough time with the present. I have a little about emo hair and how everyone wants to cut thier hair that way to fit in. Now I'm working on how hair can make you famous. I'm using Robert Smith from The Cure as an example. Can anyone else give me some ideas on what hair symbolizes now a days and anything I can add to my paper. I need to finish up my rough draft today because I only have a week to have the entire thing done. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

layers are a growing hair trend that started in the 90's and is booming with popularity today. lately we seem to be reverting back to the past. hair staighting was something that was used in the 70's or the hippie era. now as you can see it has made a big comeback which never ceases to stop. people actually can get it permed staight nowadays. curls seemm to be the lifelong thing to do. but as we have become modern we have strted to use new techniques and terms. email me if you need more

Modern hairstyles would include curly, wavy, straightened, messy buns, updos, braids, highlights/lowlights, side-swept bangs/fringe, layers, bobs, and of course the emo you suggested already. There are several options nowadays. Nowadays hairstyles mostly represent personality, individuality, cliques, fashion, freedom of expression, etc.

Hope this helped(the modern trends I listen are for females...not so sure what guys take intrest in...)
