hey, i am wanting a girl emo hairstyle I have longish blonde/copperish hair, I don't want something too majorly short, got any ideas?

Give it a rough look with short bangs to the side. I don't know how you could give it an emo look without it being short. Because you could give it a shave in the back and still have the long bangs in the front. It's kinda hard to explain, but look at pictures on the web.

I just suggest you type 'emo hairstyles' into google - there are thousands of websites on there that will help you. Most emo hairstyles have an emo fringe but you have to be really serious about getting your hair cut like this, in a year's time are you going to really like it or are you just going through an emo phase or following the latest hair fashion. Fringes and layers take years to grow out, especially if you have long hair so you have to be really serious about it!

If you want something drastic, you can allways dye it black. I have brown hair and have been dyeing it black for almost a year.

It will look pretty long, I would say just to get it cut with LOTS of short layers at the top, so you can poof it(the top) up with hairspray.

A lot of scene, or emo girls look good with bleach blonde hair, so you could allways get your hair bleached, but allways go to a salon, never do it at home, i have tried...

If you want some color, a brand called Manic Panic has indevidual clip in colored extentions, that you can put in and take out whenever you want! And you can even order them online for only $5 each.

Stick with normal hair, straight with side swept bangs is good. Seriously, the 'emo' look is so unattractive. It is also fairly trashy and people will judge you, may seem like a cruel thing of me to say but...that is how people work. Appearances are everything, the way you look predetermines what people think of you before they get to know you.
