I want to restyle and colour my hair, any ideas?

at the mo its long (...bout down to the middle of the top half of my arm) and a kinda mousey/dirty blonde colour and natural blonde highlights, with layers but theyve kinda grown out now, and a side parting so the front sweeps across my forehead? I've been a blonde my whole life and for a year i tried being brunette. I'm not sure what color i should have. I am pale skinned with hazel eyes. My hair falls to my mid back and is slightly layered. Its classic, but simple. Anyone got any ideas?

I would stick to the dark hair...chocolate brown with a touch of red in it would look great with hazel eyes...I love the contrast with dark hair and fair skin. I wouldn't do the blonde again...too plain. Keep it dark and rich. You won't go wrong with that :)

Why not do a basic brown with honey and light brown highlights? This way, you will have 2 dimensional hair which will go with your eyes and your skin and you won't feel tied down to one color as over time you can add more or less highlights. It's classic, but simple, and not too showy, but still a really pretty look!

You could try lightening up your hair a little with some honey highlights; color can be tricky, so, if you do this, go to a fairly nice salon to ensure that you get a color that complements your skin tone.

Make sure you part your hair on the side. A wispy bang would probably be really cute. Reese Witherspoon has a heart-shaped face, so you could probably try a lot of her bang styles, too:

I'm was in the same position! Try to grow out your bangs and make them kind of longer9flowing into your hair) or try a wispy bang like Reese witherspoon. if you have medium skin go with a chocolate deep brown with caramel low lights or highlight whatever you and your stylist agree with. When styling try SOFT curl on either side of your face to make your jawbone seem less predominate, If you have light skin like me!! your hair color might just be too dark, go with some thing on the lighter side! Your little cute fluff ball could be rubbing or scratching his muzzle against something. Which causes fur to be rubbed off. You should check the cage bars and other objects inside the cage to see if there are little tufts of fur stuck to it.

Oh and if the vet refuses to check your hammy because you don't have the money. Thats really dumb, you should sue them for that! They are a vet, they should check on animals whenever for whatever reason.

1. Find some hairspray

2. put your head upside down

3. get your blowdryer and twist your hair over and over with your hand make it ratty and really frizzy

to get it out take a shower with some really good shampoo and conditioner and comb your hair while taking the shower

KK get it cut a little below the shoulder, and then have it layered from the bangs up to about the ears. on the bangs, have them do a side sweep bangs, if you like the look of one of ur eyes partially covered, personally I think it is hella hott!!!

first of all i need to say how lucky u r to have straight hair! stragiht hair rarely gets really frizzy and is soo easy to wear down because every1 else in the world stresses over hair stragihteners and u dont have to! so all u have to do is cut your hair in a cute style, maybe get some volumizing shampoo since your hair is thin and there u go! good luck!

I think you should give yourself some layering to add a bit more omph to your hair, also some long swoopy bangs with face framing. You'd be amazed what some fringe around the face can do. For styling try putting some volumizine mousse on the roots of your hair when its wet, blow dry, and curl 1 inch sections with a 1 inch barrel curling iron. Good Luck!

well I often have the same problem with my hair and I have recently started wearing my hair wavy cause it adds volume to your hair and also creates a sexy look here's how I do it

閳? Wash your hair with a volumising shampoo and conditioner and then blow-dry with your head turned upside down to create fullness and volume at the roots. If you have fine hair, do not add conditioner as it is too heavy, try a thickening spray instead.

閳? Once hair is dry, add some large velcro rollers, or use a large curling tong, to divide off small, random sections for soft, wavy, loose curls.

閳? Once hair is curled, style with either a brush or your fingers and then add a touch of hairspray to mold the style into shape.

閳? Styling tip: when using velcro rollers, heat them up under your blow-dryer for about 10 minutes for added staying power and curl.

Im really bored of my hair, so i booked a appointment for a haircut at my usualy salon for tomorrow afternoon.

but im not sure whether i should get a fringe/bangs?

I have like a oval/round face shape and according tomy friends it would suit me. but i dont want a full fringe, just side fringe. something like actress selena gomez.

And layers, but if i get layers, does it affect the length of my hair? help. Because my hair has only just grown, and i prefer long medium ish hair. Im not sure whether i should get bangs/fringe? But id really love a change, i just dont want it to go wrong.

Depends on your skin tone and coloring. I would go to a hair dresser and ask them what they think would look best on you. If you are changing your hair color I would also make an appt with a hair dresser to have it done because I know from experience it does not always come out how we may want it to the first time and also it may take several times of coloring it get it to where you want it if you do it yourself. When I first started coloring my hair 7 years ago I damaged my hair had to get it cut shorter and dye it back to a darker color until it grew out then after that I started going to a hair dresser to get it done. You can damage your hair really bad if you color it too much or over process it. I have family members who are hair dressers and friends who are.

What to wear and hair/makeup ideas?

For a cool party look, pair that top with skinny jeans and ANY color heel. Red pumps would look amazing. If you're not a heels girl, try funky ballet flats. They give you the comfort of a flip-flop with the trendy style of a heel.

As for hair, I would recommend fun, natural waves. Create this look by curling your hair with a large-barreled curling iron, curling backwards all over your head. Let cool, then tousle slightly with fingers. Apply a shine serum to avoid frizz.

Keep your make-up natural. After evening out your skin with whatever foundation, concealer, and/or powder you use, apply a peachy-pink blush to the apples of your cheeks. Sweep a bronze or gold eyeshadow over your lids and use a shimmery white shadow under your browbone to highlight. You can also dab a bit of your shimmery white shadow on the inner corners of your eyes. Curl you eyelashes and apply two coats of black mascara. Swipe a thin layer of clear gloss on your lips and you're ready!

okay for maybe around the last 3 years i been wearing my hair down and its annoying cause i want to go with different hair do 's i have thick black hair and my hairs about 3 inches away from my shoulders and in layers

-Use Taft Hair mousse. Shake can and dispel a mandarin sized amt of foam and distribute thru hair. Comb it in.

-Since your hairs thick, use the same amt of mousse again, this time, applying it to your ends and scruch the mousse in. Grab hair at the ends, lifting and squeezing along the ends towards the roots. Continue with each section around the head.

-Allow to dry naturally. If you don't have time, use a diffusing nozzle on your blowdryer, and blast the hair on a warm, low setting. This method avoids frizz.

I would leave it down, and straighten it really straight, and part it different than usual. If you don't like that just curl it in tight ringlets, I wouldn't dye it though, from your avatar, you have dark hair, so just leave it that color. I suggest you wear your hair out in waves as this will make you oblong face look not so long and add width (but not too much). You can achieve this look by plaiting or braiding you hair the night before before you go to sleep. pull it out in morning and you'll have the waves. you can go to your hairdresser and get some loose curls for the shape of your face as well.

I flat iron it every morning but it doesn't take long because it is so short. It really does look good. no highlights because if u swim it can turn ur hair green.

Something I have used in the past that works over time is called Mane and Tail shampoo. This is the name of the real deal, not a knock off. You can find it in the shampoo section of a few stores but if not in that section go to your pet supply section. Don't laugh now, this is a product that was made for show horses but has now been found to give a person thicker hair or longer hair. It isn't a quick fix but over time it does work. If you look at the bottle it will now have something on it for use on people hair....:) I love the way it makes my hair feel. It is expensive but if you use it seriously, it is worth it.

What you do is put moose in your hair and put it in a bun ( swirls bun) After that you cover your bun in hairspray. Then you leave it in for at lest 5 hrs. (Or over-night) After at least 5 hrs- take out the bun, and scrunch it up with more moose and GEL.

i have the same problem...

okay so heres what you do:

buy guy's super hold gel.

wet your hair and let it air dry to the point where its just damp.

scrunch gel into your hair (may take a lot) and do that for about two minutes.

hair spray...

then take out your hairdryer.

scrunch the hair up in your hands like you did with the gel and put the dryer where theres a space at the top of your hand. hold it there till the section of hair is too hot/your hand is too hot to hold anymore. do that in sections.

then after youre done hairspray it agian.

it should hold.

your hair probably doesn't hold a curl. you can try putting some curl product in your wet hair, and then braiding it - this will give you waves. you might have to resort to heat (hot rollers, curling iron), but even this doesn't work on a lot of people, and if not done the right way, can look unnatural and be damaging. if you really want your hair to be scrunchy, you might want to try a very slight perm (no, not an eighties poodle perm :)), and this will allow your hair to keep a little more curl.

First of all, get a good haircut that will cut off most of the damaged part. Right away, it will look 100 times better. Then get some good, strong conditioner. Don't get the stuff that says "Light, won't weigh your hair down." Get the stuff that looks like old fashioned cold cream if you can. Leave it in for a while before you wash it out. And finally, don't do anything to your hair for a while. It needs a rest. No bleaching, dying, permanent, or straightening. Just leave it alone. It will look beautiful again before you know it.

I use Aussie's "Moist'' shampoo and conditioner. I shampoo only the roots, then, conditon all of my hair for about 3 minute. After, I comb the conditioner out and then rinse it with COLD water. After this, I apply conditioner to all of my hair again. But, this time i leave it for five minutes. Then, I use a deep conditioning treatments every two washes.

i had my hair cut like, i bit longer than my shoulders. i layered it in, making the frame of my face appear longer, and i got side bangs.

after getting my hair cut, i figured my hair would frizz more, so everyday i blow dried my hair out, making it look super hott.

but after a while, i decided to see what it would look like curly, and it was super hott too. =]

the curls at the top of my head[i had little waves from my roots] completely went away, and the ends just curled out.

it looks great, and i rarely blow dry my hair now.=]

good luck with the hair cut. i suggest just getting what i got. believe me it looks good.

but whatever you get, i'm sure you'll rock it.

i like the first one too. its kinda hot emo. anyway your gonna need to get it cut. your hair now looks a lil thick but the first pic its a lil thinner which makes the look. ask barber or hairstylist that u want the bulk taken outta your hair to make it thinner. on your pic your bangs r like swept to one side the top pic the bangs r just brushed straight. it also looks like the bangs are slanted goin from long on the left to shorter on the right ask your barbor or hairstylist u want that. or u could do that yourself but i think a pro would be bettr. the first pic- the hair also looks like it is straightened so you will need to straighten it to get that sleek look. then get a couple red highlights done a lil all ovr but more in the front. hope i helped! good luck.

My hair is really long, hitting my waist, and it's got long layers in it. It's super wavy naturally, when I let it air dry, and I straighten it every once in a while. I can put it in a pony tail and that's about it.

Why not try the new "pomp" hair style everyone seems to love now lol It can be cute with the front done up and then just put it into a pony tail in the back, it gives it a more grown up sort of look for a pony tail.

You can also put it in a pony tail to one side of your head, behind your ear and curl the ends of the hair with the curling iron to give it a different texture/look than the rest of the hair that is held in the pony.

I also like to do a low side ponytail, that way, you'll have all your length in the front, and its super chic and super easy. Headbands add a huge variety to long hair. I go for the ones with the extra material length that I can tie around my head for a extra cute 50's style. Those are my cute-but-easy-hair secrets. Magazines are really helpful also... I glance when I'm in line at the grocery store.

take a band and put it on, then pull it back with a bun and pin it up. after that, spray some glosser on it and it will look fabulous. the band is optional.

i'd use one of either two product lines by matrix-curl life or sexy hair concepts-sexy cury hair. they will help keep your hair manageable. one thing to try is longer layers, it will take some of the weight out, also thinning it out might help. style itself is a little harder since i don't know your face shape or preferences, but stay away from anything greasy. scrunch it with gel and blow dry with a diffuser is one method. if you don't have super long hair you can pull it back in sections with bobby pins and secure it at the back of the head just behind the crown, that always looks cute.

My friend Lizzy has red curly hair too and she scrunches it and it looks soooo cute. After you get out of the shower scrunch it with a scrunching spray and a diffuser and put jell in it. Also sometimes she straightens it with a flat iron but hers is realy expensive so it will straighten her curly hair. Hope this helps:)

i have very curly thick hair too. i like it best long i suggest using shampoo for curly hair with anti frizz cream as well. i use sunsilk de frizz (its the green one) shampoo conditioner and 24/7 cream.

It is important to make your hair as healthy as it can be. For this you want to wash your hair everyother day because washing it too much can make it more oily. I used to wash my hair everyday but until i found out that it can actually make it more oily. My hair is short, too, though I'm trying to grow it out a bit. Right now, one side is ultra-short and the other is longer. It's a bit 80's new wave unfortunately, so I have to be careful how I style it! First, go get a variety of products. Products make all the difference with short hair. Glossing serum, wax, pomade, molding mud, etc. This way you can easily do sleek and shiny or piecy and chunky or spiky. You could also do parts of your hair one way and parts of your hair another. Straightening sections (or all) is a great idea, too! GL!

heres what i do:

try half up and half down. my cousin katie does this alot, but you need to have pretty healthy looking hair underneath. just make a ponytail/bun with the top half of your hair and leave the rest down.

a variation on the half up half down idea: take the hair on your hair line to about an inch in off your forehead and gather it into a ponytail. its like taking bangs and putting them as the half up part. try curling your hair with this style, i saw it on the TV show Smallville, it was one of the doctor's hair styles and it was very femine and yet strong on her. she had brown hair medium length :]

frenchbraids are awesome! my mom has to do mine, but when she does, they look killer! try pigtails with french braids cause i think a french braided poinytail can look strange. this is a great'do for sports and active stuff.

here is one i made up that can look pretty neat: tie off two low ponytails. then put more hair ties on hte pony tail, about 2 or 3 more, to make it look almost like a rope. it looks really neat when your hair ties coordinate with your outfit!

try making a updo fresh with a unique set of bangs that dont be to be cut.... part your hair where you want your bangs to start. take a one inch section from forehead in and tie off to use as your bangs later. take the rest of your hair and put it in a bun or ponytail high up on the back of your head. now untie the bandgs and secure them behind your ears with a clip. i use this style for when i go to work. [i cashier at a food store]

experiment with headbands. use them with updos and when you leave your hair down. they come in all sizes and colors and patterns. coordinate or mix and match.

look on your favorite TV show and look at the girl's hairdos. try to copy them, but with your own twist like crimped bangs or a bun instead of a ponytail. also look at them for tips on cutting your hair next time.

try side ponytail - high or low! either slighty pushed over or dramatically moved to the side of your head. tie a ribbon in a bow ontop of hte elastic, you can get them at walmart real cheap and they look super cute!!!

try straightening your bangs [if you dont have any use the ones i mentioned farther up] and curling/sqruching the rest of your hair. scrunching is a technique where, if your hair is naturaly curly or wavy, you put gel all over wet hair and scrunch it with your hands. it looks really neat and very fashionable!

try this when you wear your hair down and when it is straight: take the hair in the center of your head at your forehead and clip it an inch or two back from your hair line. it pulls the hair out of your face and creats a unique geometric shape with your face. this is simple and great for school cause it keeps the hair out of your face!

try moving around your part. i always used to have it dead on center but then my modeling agency said i should try a side part. i was skeptical at first so i just moved it over an inch. then i tryed two inches and then three. i love it so much! i've even parted my hair RIGHT at the TOP of my EAR! yes, i needed some hair spray with that one but it looked so refined and elegant!

when you part it atleast 3 inches off center, try a low bun. it looks super regal and intellegent. in the movie Evita, Madonna played Eva Peron and she did her hair with the side part and low bun. my mother says i look just like her when i do my hair like that :]

i think this should get you off to a good start :] remember to look on the television and in magazines for ideas and to experiment! be creative! i typed this myself and these all came from my own style so i hope you like them!
