Hair, make-up and dress for graduation....any ideas??

me and my twin sis are both havin our 8th grade graduation coming up.....any ideas??

hair:

auburn, tight curled hair, impossible to straighten

sis wants hair in updo i want it styled down.

make-up:

hazel eyes and pretty pale skin, not super pale

sis hates make-up so go light if anything

me, i want something not noticeable but noticeable at the same time u know???

dress:

my sister is a total tomboy....doesnt want a dress very much. for me ill wear anything but it has to be halter for both of us.(please give links/pics if possible)

we're both pale so we need ideas on a color that wont wash us out but wont look so bold that it ends up totally makeing us look even paler.

also...if it could be in the $50 range or lower, maybe a little higher but only a little (10-20 maybe) ik this is a lot but im so worried cuz i cant find anything!!

The little black or very dark blue dress is like a chameleon.

Choose a vintage one from a thrift store, have it dry cleaned. If you ar tallish...the length thould be above the knee by 2 inches. If you are short, make sure the dress flares a bit at the bottom and only an inch above the knee.

A softly scooped front is fine if you are busty...with the back a deeper scoop. If you are not busty, a deeper scooped or a halter-type is stunning.

Keep it simple with accessories...a fine necklace with a garnet on it, and small earrings to match, a long, sheer silk scarf for the neck works well too.

You may be in your shoes all night so...fine-heeled pumps will be comfy.

As for makeup...a little blush (powder), a powder makeup, mascara lightly applied and a tawny brown on the eyelid will make any way you wear your hair look fabulous. Wear a darkish red lipstick and cover it with a shimmery pink.

You will look not only sophisticated but grown up and not slutty. Shop smart....this hould cost you less that 50 bucks.

Congrats.

i totally know how you feel. i could not find a dress anywhere. finally i got one at macy's, but its sorta hit and miss over there. im not really a hair person, so i cant help u there, but for make-up, a little foundation if you want/need it, brown eye liner, but not like dark goth-y eye liner, maybe just on the top, and some blush and lip gloss, your sis might leave out the liner. and i totally know what u mean my noticable but not at the same time, thats what i try to go for every day with my make up. and bare minerals is great. o yea, nordstrom's junior section has some cute dresses.
