Dark Brown Hair, any ideas on highlights color?

Alright, I have long dark brown hair, it's naturally straight and i can do anything with it, curl it, scrunch it, make it wavy.. etc.

I'm so bored with the look of it though, and I would like to know what color highlights would look good with dark brown hair or if i should just dye it another color? I kinda want it to look natural, maybe more than one color highlights would be okay too.

If anyone have any ideas or anything or if you have had dark brown hair and dyed it, idk, pictures would be very helpfull(:

thanks!

here are some pictures of me if that would help with the answers, or pictures if you have any.

I personally think you should have gold highlights, but not too light. Too blond-ish looks artificial and it would bring the color out of your face. So a kind of goldish blond would be good in my opnion.

Anyway, good luck with it!

those colors would look gorgeous on you,

some other colors that would look good are like honey blonde highlights, and auburn lowlights.

if you really want highlights, go with a carmel color,

but I would suggest getting NO highlights, your hair is so pretty, you might ruin it!

Personally, I don't really like the look of dark beautiful hair with light highlights. I think you should either go for an Auburn or a brownish red color, or go for a medium brown that isn't too drastically different from your color now.

You have very beautiful hair as is, so make sure not to damage it too much when coloring it, or mess with the color to the point where it looks bad.

Good luck!
