I don't like to wear my hair down, anyone have any ideas for a cute "halfway" put up

I want a hairstyle that has alot of style and involves half of my hair being put up in a clip or hair band. Any ideas? To give you an idea of what I have to work with...my hair is 4 inches below my shoulders, I have side swept bangs and I am 23 so anything too teeny bopper is out of the question. Thanks for your ideas in advance!

this is simple but can look quite classy. straighten your hair then backcomb the top half or a little less than half and pull back the hair you backcombed with a clip or bobbypins.

Curl it all over and pull up half in a barrette. I think that's so pretty especially with side swept bangs.

leave your bangs brushed over your forehead, and pull the upper half of the hair to the back of the head.brush bangs to one side. you can use a pretty clip or a cute hairclip to do this. If you want to add more to this look, curl hair after pulling it back or straighten it before pulling it back. always straighten your bangs. Or, you can pull hair back into a ponytail and twist it into a bun. leave your bangs hanging over your forehead, and secure bun with bobby pis or a scrunchie/hairband. Add cute clips or pins to dress up this look.

you can try this style:

first, ponytail half of your hair. second, take the hair band and slip it a few inches--about 1 or 2--away from your head. now, split the part of the hair bound by the ponytail into two even sections [this will be like a ponytail with a "hole" by your head]. finally, take the free end of the ponytail and push it through the hole. to make sure you don't get a teeny bopper look--lol--be sure that you push through the ponytail from the TOP, not from the bottom through.

if that wasn't too confusing--which it may have been, i don't know--you can now tighten the ponytail and you're done! with longer hair, it looks more formal. shorter, and it will look like a rolled ponytail, only less formal--short ponytails have that 'spiky' look to them. also, curly hair creates a formal look, as does using only half of your hair... so good luck!
