I have long thick wavy/curly hair and I need some ideas to tell the stylist tomorrow on how to cut it. I want to cut it so it is right on my shoulders and I have heard of long layers but I do not know what that is...would that look good?

i had my hair cut like, i bit longer than my shoulders. i layered it in, making the frame of my face appear longer, and i got side bangs.
after getting my hair cut, i figured my hair would frizz more, so everyday i blow dried my hair out, making it look super hott.
but after a while, i decided to see what it would look like curly, and it was super hott too. =]
the curls at the top of my head[i had little waves from my roots] completely went away, and the ends just curled out.
it looks great, and i rarely blow dry my hair now.=]
good luck with the hair cut. i suggest just getting what i got. believe me it looks good.
but whatever you get, i'm sure you'll rock it.

what you should do is get it to a medium lenght and control it with gel. it would look SOO pretty. you can buy it at the salon. and get lik elongish layors. definatly not short hair! no no no! long/meedium would be great. hope i helped and good luck!!!
