umm..first let it grow longer and then go to a stylist and get that haircut (but it wont look the same because you have thick hair and the guy on the pic has thin hair)

and you should look around a little bit more for pics of emo or scene hair with thick hair and maybe youll find something better and it when you get the hair you want it will look way closer to what you want it

It pretty much is just an issue of dying and straightening, maybe thinning a bit as well. That said, don't you find it kind of prevents you from seeing where you're going?

i like the first one too. its kinda hot emo. anyway your gonna need to get it cut. your hair now looks a lil thick but the first pic its a lil thinner which makes the look. ask barber or hairstylist that u want the bulk taken outta your hair to make it thinner. on your pic your bangs r like swept to one side the top pic the bangs r just brushed straight. it also looks like the bangs are slanted goin from long on the left to shorter on the right ask your barbor or hairstylist u want that. or u could do that yourself but i think a pro would be bettr. the first pic- the hair also looks like it is straightened so you will need to straighten it to get that sleek look. then get a couple red highlights done a lil all ovr but more in the front. hope i helped! good luck.

Anyone have any super easy hair style ideas that don't take much time or energy?

My hair is really long, hitting my waist, and it's got long layers in it. It's super wavy naturally, when I let it air dry, and I straighten it every once in a while. I can put it in a pony tail and that's about it.

Curling irons and I do not get along, and my wave is enough for me anyway, so anyone know anything about occasional backcombing of the hair to get a quiff? Or simple twists of the hair that can add a look?

I'm really a novice. Need like hairstyling for dummies.

Why not try the new "pomp" hair style everyone seems to love now lol It can be cute with the front done up and then just put it into a pony tail in the back, it gives it a more grown up sort of look for a pony tail.

You can also put it in a pony tail to one side of your head, behind your ear and curl the ends of the hair with the curling iron to give it a different texture/look than the rest of the hair that is held in the pony.

Pull the very middle part of your hair into a pony tail, not the entire top part of your hair, but about 2-3 inches in the very center. It's a cute way to get rid of bed-head. I also like to do a low side ponytail, that way, you'll have all your length in the front, and its super chic and super easy. Headbands add a huge variety to long hair. I go for the ones with the extra material length that I can tie around my head for a extra cute 50's style. Those are my cute-but-easy-hair secrets. Magazines are really helpful also... I glance when I'm in line at the grocery store.

look at Juila Roberts and Kerri Russell, both have thick red curly hair.. Look great! As long as they are not too frizzy, any style is fine. A pony tail, or braided would probably make it easier to manage.

take a band and put it on, then pull it back with a bun and pin it up. after that, spray some glosser on it and it will look fabulous. the band is optional.

i'd use one of either two product lines by matrix-curl life or sexy hair concepts-sexy cury hair. they will help keep your hair manageable. one thing to try is longer layers, it will take some of the weight out, also thinning it out might help. style itself is a little harder since i don't know your face shape or preferences, but stay away from anything greasy. scrunch it with gel and blow dry with a diffuser is one method. if you don't have super long hair you can pull it back in sections with bobby pins and secure it at the back of the head just behind the crown, that always looks cute.

My friend Lizzy has red curly hair too and she scrunches it and it looks soooo cute. After you get out of the shower scrunch it with a scrunching spray and a diffuser and put jell in it. Also sometimes she straightens it with a flat iron but hers is realy expensive so it will straighten her curly hair. Hope this helps:)

i have very curly thick hair too. i like it best long i suggest using shampoo for curly hair with anti frizz cream as well. i use sunsilk de frizz (its the green one) shampoo conditioner and 24/7 cream.

You could always go with a straightening shampoo or get a straightening iron and if you like the straight look, cut it and then you'll have more options. If you don't like it you could always go back to curly.

Understand, curly,frizzy and very big hair!

Layers of course at least 3 inches on top, if using a round brush, when blow drying use shampoo and conditioner (many types that eliminate frizz and fullness, if you know what your looking for.)

A little below neckline and about 2 inches when dry, and allow for shrinkage.

A razor cut and they should texturize as they go along.
